Suburban Natural Gas Company is a privately owned business established in 1882, that has developed a reputation as a competitive and rapidly expanding natural gas distribution company. As a public utility, Suburban is subject to the supervision and jurisdiction of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the United States Department of Transportation.
Suburban currently has over five hundred miles of natural gas distribution facilities located in Wood, Henry, Delaware and Marion Counties. Our offices are located in Cygnet and Lewis Center, Ohio. Suburban currently provides natural gas service to over 19,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Ohio.
In Northwest Ohio, Suburban proudly serves 8 municipalities in the areas surrounding Bowling Green and Findlay, providing natural gas service to over 4,000 customers. In Central Ohio, Suburban proudly services the west side of the Polaris Centers of Commerce including the JPMorgan Chase McCoy Center, the Polaris Fashion Mall and the Polaris Towne Center. In addition, Suburban provides service to over 15,000 customers in Delaware and Marion Counties.
